To get people talking about National Piña Colada Day, we made phoneboxes across the UK embody the spirit of Malibu. Generating a ridiculous amount of buzz on a ridiculously small budget.
How we did it
For some reason, no one cares about National Piña Colada Day. We know right?!
We were asked to create a campaign to run on a handful phone boxes around Britain to drive people into local bars to order a Malibu Piña Colada.
Rather than a simple print ad, we wanted to disrupt people's routines with something fun and iconic that they'd want to take a photo of. So we turned those familiar phone boxes Britain into shrines to the pineapple.
And people took notice…
